My reason for building a time machine ( which I am well awared of is not possible unless 'sole purpose is to get to the future and not back)

Sometimes I feel misplaced in this world. I would've probably been famous if I was born 40 ago. Living in the 80's must have been so much easier and better. No technological box of wonder located in the pockets of each teenager providing them the sweet escape into a virtual world. No pressure to be the ONE in 7 billion  to make something of yourself. for me... obsolete poodle skirts and jukeboxes would've made my life a lot happier. And besides, neon leotards and headbands (in the so totally wrong depiction of the 80's in the 21st century) are probably the best thing to happen to the human race since the invention of milk chocolate (which has a amazing story behind it). If someone who had only known me by my visual appearance would've said my weighed down Afro is one of the best represented Afros on a white person (which already reveals too much about me). And for someone like me who hates electrical keyboards but loves the sweet sound of a grand piano, and can barely think of Simeon reading a book on an electrical device and missing out on the Sweet smell of a freshly pressed book, I by tho declare myself a person of the past. I know my argument might be contradicting itself by the fact that I'm writing on a computer and not a heavy typewriter, but as some of the great minds of this and every generation to come before us said I COULD CARE LESS.\

Progress for the sake of progress should be made

Frederick Douglass said “If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.”
Is it possible for me to be in love with text? don't you think this passage explains today's society and young generations (speaking as one of them)? I think it does. Looking at people my own age, I've learned a few things, including the worrisome fact that some people expect prizes to be handed to them on a silver platter. I think innocence is the greatest limitation one can have. As a person, one should always be aware of the changing environment and situations, even if they are emotionally hard for a someone to comprehend. Being purposely innocent while refusing to accept the facts of this world limits a person's growth potential and possible understanding of LIFE.
In order to live a purposeful life,  people shouldn't protect themselves from the harms of the world, but explore it and understand the world outside each one of the bubbles we all create for ourselves. Explore, enjoy, discover, and never look back.

The essence behind the phrase RULING THE WORLD

Some might say ruling the world is hard, not me. Of course it depends on what your definition of "ruling the world" is. Mine is simple, coming to peace with the world around you, just not complaining about every single challenge fate throws at you. The most common interpretation of the phrase "ruling the world" is basically ruling the world... The king of the world title-dictator bad.

But as you might have already realized... I'm different, I've always been. I don't want to take over the world, just be friends with it, maybe even best-friends, we'll see how it goes.

us

Have you ever thought about who you are, how you came to be, and what are the chances of you, as a person, being who you are, of us being who WE are? they’re greater than one in a billion. So why not make your existence mean something? be remembered and respected. Maybe not known world wide but missed, as one “[should not] strive to make [his] presence noticed, but [his] absence felt”. Because It’s our duty as people  to make the world around us a better place. I like this idea, of being missed.. and I've always adored people that lived by this saying. I'd like to believe I do... Maybe sometimes...don't you? We all should work hard to make life easier for everyone else, even if we face some challenges. Life is wonderful... our creation is miraculous and our existence is even more peculiar, so why not make the best of it ?
